Take a Drink
I made the fresh coffee and I made it just the way you like it; hot and strong.
You come walking into the break room, smiling when you smell it and know it’s time to pour a cup.
You sit down at the table and close your eyes while you take a sip of it.
I smile seeing this, knowing you are using your senses on the new flavor I tried.
You open your eyes and find me across the room and give me a huge smile.
I now know you liked it as much as I did making it for you.
Here comes everyone else and you glare at them.
I realize Sentinel’s don’t like to share.
