Update on swimming.

I started swimming on October 18th. I swim three times a week and watch what I eat. As of today I have lost 14 pounds. I have so far to go yet, but I'm really happy with the results so far. I'm determined to get a waistline again. LOL I'm also getting a very nice tan. I don't burn or anything, just a nice tan. I feel much better. I still have bad days now and then, but I'm trying to focus on the good ones. And there are a lot more of them. Thank you, everyone, for believing in me. Woot.

Update: I have been swimming for five weeks now. I've lost 22 pounds so far. I'm hoping for another 15 for December, but I don't know how that will go with sweets. :) *grin*

The only downside is they are closed for three weeks in December. I'm bummed about that. That's when they do their yearly things and I'll just have to watch what I'm eating over the holidays.; Bummer. LOL

Thank you. I feel like I might be doing the best in January. For three weeks in December they will be closed. I asked them to keep it open for me and they said no. Can you believe it? hahahaha. Anyhow, I"m going to work like crazy this month and then January will be a good time to really up my game.

Every lb lost is worth celebrating and I believe in slow and steady, you're more likely to keep it off that way.

I hope the bad days become less and less for you.

I think a lot of the work here is in your head rather than in your pool, so congrats on that too. When we get that the thing that comforts us is actually the thing that's doing us harm it's a big break through. Keep thinking about those good days. :-)

Hey Patt, so glad you're doing better. Remember every pound you lose multiplies, it means 5 pounds of pressure off your knees and ten pounds of pressure off your feet. *hugs*
