I think I forgot to tell all of you...

I had all the tests done and everything is perfect. They have decided that the high CRP count in the blood was probably caused from my Fibromyalsia. So I'm good, no complaints. Now if I could just get some weight off. I must exercise. Simple as that.

That's fantastic news!! I didn't want to ask, but I'm so happy that the news is good.

I'm with you on needing to lose weight and the need to exercise more. It's so hard to exercise when it hurts so much. Arthritis is a real downer.

That's such great news - I was trying not to worry!

Go you - weight is a beast, whether it's too much or not enough! I got myself a Fitbit about 18 months ago, and it's been such a good investment- it makes me think about sitting too long and not sleeping enough.

I've got an exercise bike that is wonderful but I have to force myself to use it. Everything hurts these days, so I'm getting more lazy.

Patt, keep an eye on it. Can you get another blood test in the next few months? It's just that CRP is an indicator of where there is inflammation. Your docs might say it's "probably caused by the Fibromyalsia", but it's obviously not completely certain, so don't let them just write it off as that. Keep asking for blood tests regularly and monitor what the readings are. (I get protein levels tested as part of regular blood tests for kidney disease)

UB2, the original number was 42. Norm was supposed to be between 0-1. So needless to say, they were worried. The latest test I had was 21.5. This is a vast improvement. I have to go in every three months and have it drawn again. They are watching it. I have inflammation in my esophagus and my colon. So they are watching that too. But it was such good news to find out my heart was in such good shape. They just can't figure out why the inflammation is there.

I have a really good doctor. He over-does some things, but he's just worried. He's an Internist. I've been going to him for 22 years. He's my age, so he'll be retiring in 3 years, he said. I'm bummed. LOL

That's good!

Weight - without trying, I've lost 21 pounds since the beginning of June. Part of it has been total lack of appetite a lot of the time. Now I just have to watch that I don't put that weight back on, now that I'm eating more or less normally again.

I've got three stories I'm working on, but two of them are not getting any attention, due to time constraints, but I haven't given up on them. Two SGU stories and One Avengers. I would like to finish my last space opera one for Sentinel, but it's on the way, way back burner.

I'm really busy with my new job. I like it, though and it's a lot easier to do, and pays better and since I punch a time clock, I get paid for all the work I do, unlike my last job. Best of all it's better for me health-wise, since I'm not doing home visits to places that trigger the asthma I developed.

I've got 4 grandbabies now, five, four, twenty-two months and eight months. Two boys, two girls.

So, very busy, very, very busy. I rarely watch tv, since I work second shift. I am trying to walk more, a mile in the morning with our chicken killing dog who has to be on a chain during the day, and about a mile and a half around the hospital where I work when I finish my shift. Speaking of which, got to get ready to go work, I have a meeting to attend so I have to go in early.

You take care.

I'm so glad you got a better job. The other guys were working you way too hard. And I think you might have been on salary, right? This is so much better. Good for you. And congratulations on the newest grandbaby. I Knew about the three, but not the fourth. They are so precious. Enjoy them and your new job. Writing will come later. I'd love to read the space opera you have going. :)

Good luck with the exercise -- it's so hard to get started with that but it makes such a difference.

That's great news, Patt! I'm glad to hear that you're all okay. As for the weight, it'll come off in time...maybe walk the dogs a little longer to help?
