We were stranded and couldn't get home. That fire in Chicago put everyone off the planes and it was a mess. We had to scramble to get a hotel for the night, I didn't have my meds with me, thinking we would be home early Friday. After six and a half hours in line, I realized it was going to be a nightmare weekend. *sigh* My brother got the ticket to Albuquerque changed. So, now I have a few days before I have to leave. Thankfully, so. I'm exhausted and don't feel that great. Vacation was good if you like muggy and rain. (I don't like either.) It rained every single day we were there. Very little sun and tons and tons of humidity. That will be our last trip to Florida. My asthma just can't take it any more. I can barely breathe. Rod totally agrees with me about the mugginess and rain.
Shannon (our oldest) cleaned the house really nicely and had a nice dinner prepared for when we finally got home Saturday night. Everything went smoothly, she said. Thank goodness for that. I've missed everyone this week. Especially hanging out with Morgan and doing Big Bang stuff. So glad to be home, even if it isn't for very long.
I hope you all are well.
Please ignore this rant. I was so tired and exhausted from the trip that I took it out on all of you. Sorry, everyone. I'm one of those people that need naps. LOL Now that I've napped and am home safe and sound, I'm better. I just need to get ready for the next trip. I'm determined to make this a good trip. My momm deserves something happy and me smiling a lot. Be well, all of you.
