I'm having a really bad week.

This has been one of those weeks that everyone tells you about but you never believe it could be true. LOL Everything that can go wrong has and the only thing that's keeping me from going crazy is the thought of having some new stories to read, which I'm going to do in a few minutes. Stories always make me feel better. I'm hoping for some new sections of stories that I'm cheerleading for. I can't wait. I'm hooked on all three of the stories. :) Hopefully I'll get some more to read this coming weekend.

I've finished all of my Moonridge commitments except for one. That one is going to kill me, I just know it. I asked someone to write it with me and she agreed and now I can't get a hold of her. I think the story I sent her scared her away. *sigh* It'll be the first time in Moonridge history that I'm not going to meet my commitment. I thought about starting it over again, but it's just way too hard for me to write. I'm just not that good. So I'm disappointed in myself and life in general. Oh how I wish I was a better writer and would be able to do something with the 51 pages I have written. LOL God, do you beleive how many I did? And I wonder why she's not getting back with me? *sigh* I wrote it with good intentions but after I have talked to some people about it, I realized how bad it really is. Sucks the big one.

Life is not going to end as I know it, is it? I don't think so. And I learned something very important from this. I'm not going to do the Moonridge Auction again. Not my scene any more. Again, life will go on as we know it. :) I had some problems with it and the best thing for me to do is to step back and realize I can't do everything and be happy and cheerful for everyone.

Okay, enough whining. I hope you all are having a much better week.

Hugs, Patt

Update
I decided that I would give her a month in case she's having real life crap going on and then I'm going to start the story over again. This time I'll do it in small chapters and see if I can't find a beta that has seen the movie, Soldier. Things will be fine.

No, it's this story I'm working on, was doing it with someone else. I did okay on it, but not great, she was doing a great job with what I had and was building it from there. Now I can't get a hold of her and alas, it was for a Moonridge story. I just feel like I've failed. But everyone has convinced me to instead come up with a better idea for a story and start fresh. Then offer that to them. So I'm hoping that will work. Gosh, I'm just so disappointed. Thank you for your kind words. :) I'll be fine.

Could she be having a bad week? Vacation? PC trouble? Did you know her before?

I think the Soldier idea was brilliant. And it could be epic. It could take months to hammer it out. Please don't give up. Is there something I can do to help you out? No one is breathing down your neck. We can wait. I don't think the concept for Moonridge times out till the next auction?

((hugs))

Don't shoot it down just yet!

Lisa told me to take a break and then start over again on the same story. So I might do that too. You're right, I was feeling pressure to finish it up, but it's not a rush. I have time. No one will kick my butt yet. LOL

I forgot to answer your questions. Yes, I know her well, but don't have her phone number. She mmight be having PC problems and I'm going to hope for something simple like that. She's really good and I needed her something fierce. She might just have a case of real life crap going on too. So I'm not giving up. I decided tonight that I'm going to wait a month and if still no contact from her I'll be sad, but life goes on. then I will restart the story.
