WE were talking about going to Houston for Christmas and Samantha asked if she was going. I told her no, that she would be staying here with her Mom, Dad and brother Vincent. She was very distressed about it and wanted to know why she couldn't go along. I told her that we were going to fly and already had the tickets. Without missing a beat, she said, "Can I ride on your back?" ROFLMAO Only a three year old would think we were like Iron Man or something. LOL She had seen the Iron Man Trailer and thinks that we can fly. LOL She was very upset that we all laughed at her. LOL LMAO What do other people do during the evenings? LOL

Hugs, Patt

Kids are so literal and sensitive at that age. One forgets until you're reminded by being around a kidlet.

I'm doing much better, thank you. You may have noticed I took part in the MME poll. My writer's block seems to be gone *bhg* so I'll be contributing in the next zine for sure.

When I made the poll up, I forgot to check off the thingy that lets me know who voted. LOL So I have no idea who is still interested in writing Jim/Blair or not. LOL I'm such a spaz. I'm so glad to hear you're back writing again. Woo Hoo. :) We'll look forward to a new story for the next ezine. :)

Yeah, if the ts_ficathons deadline hadn't happened I would totally have thrown the writing energy towards this zine. :-( Tough call to make.

What a little cutie! Don't you wish you COULD let her ride on your back? *bg*

Yes, I do. We're going to miss her at Christmas, but our 17 year old Grand-daughter misses us too. We have to spread our time out, don't cha know? :)

And since you're with her all the time, you can just celebrate with her a little early.

We've always done that with our kids. =>}

We're going to have two Christmas's this year. :) One here in Tucson and one in Houston. So that way everyone will be taken care of.

We've always had two Christmases, since we always visited my parents for the "real" holiday. We still have our Christmas with our kids and their spouses early. Then they can spend the "real" day in their own homes and visit with in-laws.

It's always worked out well and it spreads the season out nicely. =>}
