I Always Feel like Somebody’s Watching Me
For the last week, I’ve felt like someone has been watching me, but when I look around, no one is. It must be my imagination. Maybe my senses are acting up.
I was talking to Simon and got that feeling again and glanced around and saw Blair looking at my ass. It’s Blair that’s looking. Who would have thought? Doesn’t he know that I would let him look at me anytime? I guess not. He didn’t even notice I caught him.
I finish up with Simon and walk over to Blair and said, “We need to talk.”
Blair blushed and looked away from my eyes. I couldn’t believe he was avoiding me. “Come on Chief, let’s go have some lunch.”
Blair got up, but very slowly and looked like he was on his last leg instead of going for a lunch date. And that’s what this would be; a lunch date.
We went to the diner across the street and sat down in a booth. “Blair, I noticed something today that made me happy.”
Blair looked up at me unexpectedly and answered, “What Jim? Did something happen with your senses?”
“You could say that. I felt like someone was watching me all week long and come to find out, it’s you. Who would have thunk?”
Blair looked down at the table, blushing again and said, “I’m really sorry, Jim.”
“Do you not understand me? I don’t mind that you’re watching me. In fact, I like it very much.” I smiled over at my partner and finally got Blair to smile.
“So you don’t mind me watching you?” Blair asked quietly.
“I ‘like’ you watching me. We’ll talk about it when we get home tonight. In the mean time, keep those eyes on me all day long. I like the way it makes me feel.” We ordered lunch and Blair did just that. Every time I looked up from my plate, he was watching me.
Life was good.
